Our amazing Executive Officer is retiring after many years of excellent service.
We are looking to appoint a new Executive Officer who can support the work of the Principal and senior leadership team in taking a lead role with the school’s finances, correspondence and payroll. The position also supports whānau, students and staff on the front desk, and supports the administration of first aid.

You must be a confident communicator with a proven ability to inform, guide and support a broad range of staff, families and students. Goodwood School has 380+ students and 35 staff.
The successful applicant will ideally have strong financial management and planning skills, experience in managing finances and in the management of staff.
Having experience in the Education Industry will be an advantage as well as in the use of Apple computers, Google apps, Excel and other Microsoft Suite Apps.
The position is Grade D as per 3.2.2 of the Support Staff in School Collective Agreement, subject to applicant’s relevant experience and qualifications.
To start as soon as possible on a date that is mutually agreed upon
Permanent 8.00 am – 4.30 pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break inclusive) Monday to Friday (Can be four days per week by negotiation)
This role is term time only with extra work during school holidays available by negotiation and as required.
